RITTER Double Busbar Switchgear type GT5D

24 kV double busbar system with circuit-breakers in draw-out or fixed mounted design, busbar disconnectors and integrated pressure relief channel.

  • IEC 62271-200
  • up to 24 kV
  • up to 2500 A and 31,5 kA 3s
  • air insulated
  • metal enclosure, metal clad
  • Arc fault tested IAC AFLR 31,5 kA 1 s

The GT5D switchgear is an innovative, air-insulated double busbar switchgear in draw-out or fixed-mounted design. It covers the complete range of technical requirements at the 24 kV level. Due to the compact dimensions and the space-saving integrated pressure relief channel, the system is suitable for common switch rooms. With regard to the components used, such as protection, circuit breakers, current/voltage converters and secondary equipment, we can react flexibly to customer requirements.

Field of Application

As a circuit breaker system in grid, distribution and main stations for power companies, industry and public clients for switching transformers, motors, generators, overhead lines and cable routes.

Design

Metal-enclosed, air-insulated, factory-ready and type-tested. Compartmentalization is made between the busbar compartments of adjacent fields and between the busbar-, the circuit breaker- and cable connection compartments. Maximum personal and operational safety due to the LSC2B availability class, even for fixed installation. Classification for internal errors IAC AFLR. Cable voltage converters are installed on a mobile cassette. Also available as a fixed installation variant with an easy-to-remove, mobile circuit breaker.

Panel Types

Incoming feeder, outgoing feeder, busbar cross coupling; bus-section- and bus-riser panels with motorized busbar-disconnectors and draw-out or fixed mounted circuit breakers. Busbar measurements and busbar grounding switches are mounted on top  without a separate measuring field on the circuit breaker panels.
